Gose pleaded guilty to four counts of manufacturing and trafficking of meth amphetamine in Las Cruces.

Gose has spent eight and a half years teaching science at Irvin High School in El Paso, while he also taught in Onate High School and with Las Cruces Public Schools.

Investigators later searched his house where they found chemicals and supplies used to make meth.

Cops say they found a Styrofoam cooler chest containing glassware, rubber tubing and chemicals.

Experts testified the materials could have been used to make a pound of crystal meth with a street value of more than $50,000.
