Amanda Hayes said her vehicle was scraped by one of the plane’s wings as it fell from the sky.
KOMO News reported that despite a fire there were no serious injuries for the two on board, or those in vehicles that were struck by falling debris.
The Federal Aviation Administration stated the single-engine Piper PA32 had taken off from a nearby airfield.
