He claims Sims was trying to clean up the woman because she thought the funeral home did a bad job of staging, KFOR reported.

She also is accused of cutting up her husband’s ex-lover’s face with a pocket knife, cutting the woman’s hair and smudging her makeup. According to KFOR, prosecutors allege Sims removed the woman’s toe and one of her breasts.

The funeral home’s director, John Wilson, told the Tulsa World at the time he hadn’t experienced anything like it in his 30 years in the business.

Sims, 28, is on trial for allegedly mutilating the corpse of her husband’s dead lover back in 2015, and posing as a funeral home employee to steal the woman’s belongings.

Sims’ defence attorney intends to counter the allegations against his client by arguing the woman underwent a rough autopsy.

Prosecutors countered by arguing Sims is an “angry woman” who was upset by the affair.
