An elementary school principal in Salt Lake City has been placed on leave after allegedly forcing a young student to strip down as part of a punishment.

Once there, the principal allegedly made the boy sit half-naked in a chair for an undocumented amount of time. There were witnesses, according to FOX 13.
A source reportedly told the TV station that the student was brought to Lacy’s office after he wouldn’t stop pulling his pants down.
"The district was made aware of the allegations involving the principal at Edison Elementary several days ago and immediately started a comprehensive investigation, including placing the principal on leave. We are also fully cooperating with police in their investigation,” a school district official said, according to FOX 13 in Salt lake.
No charges have been filed, according to the Deseret News.
