A surveillance video that has gone viral captured the moment in which the speeding black Honda CR-V loses controls, skids across the street and drives onto the roof of a house.
This certainly wasn’t Santa’s sleigh landing on the roof.
The damaged vehicle was removed from the home by a crane.
“With a big bang, I saw a car stuck in the roof,” said the unnamed homeowner.

According to the UK Huffington Post, the unnamed driver said he was trying to avoid a collision with a cyclist and another vehicle when the incident occurred. But instead of hitting the brakes, his foot went on the gas pedal and he lost control.
The driver of the vehicle told police he was going 70 kilometres at the time.
